I find it worrying that the Otaku's crush has a score so close to Otonari's. Either Otonari is nicer than she acts or Kinjou actually thinks he's an acquired gopher.

Also I thought Otomore's protag was a different one.

Why would it be worrying (also, do you mean 'Osanai' rather than 'Otonari'? There isn't an 'Otonari' character in this series)? The percentage stuff is described as 'likeability' or 'favorable impressions' depending on translation, but doesn't describe what each girl actually thinks of Otaku. It just means that they have positive or negative thoughts about him.

'Gofer' is likely just Osanai's nickname for him because the only time she's spoken directly to him was while he was acting as one. Other than that he's associated with Kinjyou, she doesn't really know him. (Edit: Actually, it isn't even a nickname. as it's currently translated she just says "The gofer" as she just doesn't have any other point of reference for him)

Also, Otomore was present back in the original series (pool #15837) but since that got cancelled, the artist probably just transferred her over because he liked her enough. Heck, other than the fact that Ouga isn't a character any more, there's no indication that the male main character isn't the same person as before anyway.

By "worried", I more mean, "I want to see all of her events now before the series ends". The fact she keeps losing the Twitter polls and is the only one that still has ??'s for her likability level (indicating she hasn't even properly interacted with Otaku yet), just fills me with dread.

Does Himura have to? He can just declare that the characters exist in the same setting, or show them walking/standing in the same location (but not necessarily aware of each other), and that's that.

Definitely possible. We already have Gimai-chan's obsession, why not have an onee-chan get some love too?
