I wonder if we can apply the rule about Bored Marines to shipgirls...

We need a "Things Involving Shipgirls that are No Longer Allowed - Azur Lane edition".

... Doesn't that rule apply to every branch of the military? Idle hands are the devil's workshop and all that (on that note, Enty is doing what Akagi Prime was too lazy to do effectively- keeping Akagi-chan busy, and therefore occupied).

Yes, but there is this perception of marines being considered noticeably dumber than the other branches (the entire 'crayons are snacks' thing, etc).

I had a brother who was in the Marines so I can attest that this is true from personal experience.

I kinda wanted to defend the Marines for a moment, but then I remembered my brother joined the Marines a little while ago and my first interaction with him since he enlisted was a video call that got interrupted by other Marines trying to get him to open a can of bean dip since none of them could figure out how.

I think they ended up using a shovel thingy.

You mean the e-tool?

I bet they accidentally tore off the loop and had to figure out how to open without it.

They should also have been issued a manual can opener, or failing that, go to mess and find an opener.

... I am just disappointing myself more and more now.

Makes me remember about a guy who once said that Touhou is like ... 75% Hentai XD
Guess he did make a point XD

Lol true

I had hoped for Reimu to be first, but Flandre is a better fit for Danbooru anyway. We are real close to 600,000 touhou post.

Kirishima did get her to make very good food in the past. Simple but excellent. Unfortunately...her curry.....

That's why takeout exists. Also, why you don't stock the kitchen.

That won't stop her. She'll just make her curry from dirt, wood shavings, bits of broken glass, raw sewage, and whatever else she manages to get her hands on.

In this case, she went with the instant stuff.

I'm fine with that, especially since she doesn't need to mess with it.

I'm quite sure she has the belief she is a good cook.

No-one should ever shatter illusions: advantage rarely comes of it.

She IS a good cook... as long as she follow the instructions and don't put any personal touchs.

Garrus said:

I mean, the least that could be done is encourage her to sample her food as she makes it!

And that's when you learn that she's basically Flynn Scifo in that regard: okay when she follows the recipe, but loves to experiment and has an extremely skewed sense of taste. Hiei can probably handle her own cooking just fine, but others....
