She can just leave, though. Nothing stops anyone from leaving the apartment if they choose to.

Supposedly based on the TV news report, the entire city is either part of the anomaly or an experiment by some organization. One man is reported to say there isn't anything outside the city, and strange stuff like the beach fetuses means there are creatures possibly beyond the city area.

I mean, that's the thing. Are you really going to trust a news report produced by one of the anomalies in the apartment complex? The one that said FENNEC was wanted for mass murder?

Savanna exists, Hell zone exists which means a link to the regular park. Gachi-Oji doesn't seem to treat the outside as a threat, just the complex.

And this ^

So outside should be okay...probably?

There seems to be a functioning outside, considering a lot of the residents of the mansion leave to get snacks and other supplies. If there are anomalies outside the mansion it doesn't seem like they have enough of an affect to hurt everyday life.

Still, to be abandoned by your friends because of the very natural and okay sense of fear is just mean. I wanna give that otter a big hug.

I thought the implication was that even though Fennec is a good friend now, she actually does have a bad past. To me, a straight out lie accusing one of murder wouldn't really get into one's head, but a TV broadcast that pinpoints and plays upon the viewer's mental weakness (such as past guilt) sounds more anomalous to me.

I dunno, it seemed a pretty straightforward "Spook you to lure you into a trap" anomaly trying to kill the viewer to me. The hook wasn't that you did commit murder, but that the authorities believe you did and were certainly going to execute you if they found you. All you had to do to prevent this was go to the lair of the anomaly and it/they would help "prove your innocence". Most people would be quite scared if a news report suddenly informed them that they were under surveillance and wanted for mass murder.

It basically feels like one of those IRS scams, only instead of Google Play cards they want you. Considering the general nature of these anomalies, I find trusting any of them to be about as smart as trusting one of those scams (Which can and do use the threat of getting law enforcement involved to try and scam their victims).

Slightly off topic, but man, some dude with a bunch of bot accounts has it out for you. I keep recognizing your username being downvoted to oblivion for absolutely no reason. It's either dupe accounts or the danbooru viewership just decided the last few weeks that no fun is allowed in the comment section.

Christ, you're not kidding. Almost every comment of theirs for the last six pages of history looks to have been bombed.
