So what's up with m200 and sharks, I feel like I'm missing something obvious

This is anecdotal, but I recall someone responding to artist "Shuzi" (when she apparently asked the same question) that this trend started after artist "Mountain han" uploaded the following thing:

Again, this is just what I recall.

Can YOU identify the locomotive? It's got a unusual ID-number (Japanese locomotives usually have 6-digit numbers) and while DE definitely is the right letter-part (diesel-hydraulic locomotive with five axles), these locomotives don't seem to have numbers starting with 5. I think, it looks closest to a model DE 10.

I agree that it looks like a JNR class DE10 shunter. There is a photo of locomotive 503, sister to the illustrated loco's real life counterpart on this wikipedia page in the "preserved examples" section. The addition of "DE" to the number in Ido-san's drawing may be artistic license, as is the naval anchor emblem.

Pretty much everything about this artist is a Rube Goldbergesque method to commit suicide.

Doesn't matter; the rule here is "Tag what you see, not what you know." And I don't see any indication of a suicide attempt here.

The "Digging Your Own Grave" pool is a thing you know.

She's placing a mortar shell while clearly intending to run up to it on her motorcycle, that's a suicide strategy.
