In what looks like predominantly the work of one user (probably not malicious), stomach is an ambiguous tag; the contents are kind of a confused jumble, consisting:
- the majority of posts are in the colloquial sense of the word, basically exposed midriffs
- a small portion are vore, i.e. "inside the stomach". -- search: stomach vore
- a couple of posts actually refer to the organ: -- search: stomach anatomy
a)
The first category might seem redundant with midriff, but for some reason, midriff wiki specifies not to use the tag "if the character is topless, naked, or wearing only underwear or a bikini." Can someone explain the justification behind this seemingly arbitrary restriction to midriff? Normal English usage of the word simply refers to the region of the torso and does not distinguish between what kind of clothes are worn; in particular, "exposed midriff" is still accurate usage in the case of swimsuits/bikinis/underwear only.
If we can discard the distinction between exposed midriffs that are clothed vs. partially clothed vs. fully naked, then most of these stomach posts would be better tagged as midriff.
If midriff remains in its current limited definition, then I would suggest abdomen in place of stomach to avoid ambiguity with the internal organ. In this case, an implication midriff->abdomen may be appropriate as well.
b)
The vore posts are easy -- they should probably just be moved to inside_creature
c)
The last category of anatomy-related posts may be better served as stomach_(organ), for disambiguation purposes. (c.f. heart_(organ))

As for belly, its wiki definition suggests that:
However the wiki for midriff does not specify this, and the current tag usage does include plenty of examples that are plump.
Hence, I'd argue that belly is a pointless tag that should be subsumed as the search midriff plump.
