New implications and alias for Grand Chase

Posted under Bugs & Features

Grand Chase has seen some development and it's time Danbooru synchronizes with this.

Ercnard_Sieghart
Aliases: Sieghart_(grand_chase)

Arme_Glenstid
Aliases: Arme_(grand_chase), Arme

Elsword_(character)
Aliases: Elsword_Sieghart, Elsword_(grand_chase)

Mari_Ming_Onette
Aliases: Mari_(grand_chase)

There's more but the others I have to confirm.

Elsword_(character) is not part of the Grand Chase series beyond a mere mention. He is primarily the titular character for Elsword, which takes place in a totally different universe, and he doesn't have the surname Sieghart here (not of any official sources I could find anyway). I also wrote in both elesis_(grand_chase) and elesis_(elsword)'s wikis that they are not the same character, even though ES-Elesis is heavily based off of GC-Elesis.

Do you have more materials explicitly saying they're their own instances and not connected to GC? This sounds like something the GC wikia should have.

I won't refute that the two games are similar since they continuously feed off of each other for character and gameplay ideas, and the whole Elsword/Elesis naming convention doesn't help matters much. However, Grand Chase's storyline takes place in the world of Aernas, while Elsword's takes place in Elrios. Nowhere do I see that Aernas is mentioned in Elsword's backstory, nor that Elrios is part of GC's. The lore behind each world is completely different, so I would call them separate continuities.
