How do I tag this?

Thanks Randeel.
What is the tag for this circle of wind flowing at the bottom of this image?

Also, what is the tag for this trail following the star, and what is the tag for the circle around that trail? http://danbooru.me/posts/2660115?favgroup_id=1326

I don't think we have tags for any of those things since they're pretty ambiguous. I think that the wind circle is caused by aura, magic or some unseen force. As for the particles: dust maybe? For the second pic my only guess is star dust...

Hmm, doesn't look that lolita to me though... I think it's just wa maid. Nogi Takayoshi likes drawing Japanese style stuff, especially wa maids.

Yes. I agree.

There seems to be overlap with the tags, with the only difference being wa_maid involves an apron. I'd wager the image could be tagged with both.

Alright, now here we have a doozy

This... has the pawoo username! But the child has the twitter username. What do. Maybe we might have to have a compounded tag for both of these things... maybe a general username tag would be best (for either implications or aliases). Anyone else have thoughts? Or should I 'mistag' the pawoo username as a twitter username...

Why not create pawoo username?

Oh, that's what I did for now. I just wonder if there'll be space for confusion between both of them because pawoo and twitter literally share the same characteristic of the "@" sign present. Hell, mastodon as a whole is like that. It should be the fully qualified name, like @[email protected] but you know artists, and what they do...

For [site] username I think it's contextual. For direct URLs (i.e. artist.deviantart.com) I extrapolated it as deviantart username at least and if it matches with the artists URLs artist name as well and also add the particular URL to the artist entry if it wasn't already three. Also there will be cases where, say, you see a username right below a Patreon logo; in which case it's clear that you have a patreon username.

Now for what you brought up this leads us to a situation where the @name matches up to both the Twitter and Pawoo handle of the same artist, then what to do?

We could alias twitter username to @handle/@username or such. I advise against a generalized "username" because it cases where it isn't ambiguous (like deviantar username, tumblr username, et al) there's no reason to strip that info. I would much prefer a manual approach where we take into account the available known artist names and URLs, although this would be liable to laziness (automatically slapping on twitter username without checking) which I suspect would be much more common. Another indicting mark against an alias is that a Twitter username may have been tagged not because of the "@handle" but because the name was next to the Twitter logo or derived from a URL.

I also suspect there are more sites that use this type of name.

There probably are. It's a strange situation. In that post though, riichu has different handles for Pawoo and Twitter. Although I suppose it's good that his Pawoo handle is the exact same as his actual artist name.

I just bring it up for concerns where context will likely not be present (such as if he uploads that post or the other one to pixiv and one would have to look it up).

Well for me that's part of context since when I add twitter username to a post I also check the URL list to see if it's a valid artist name too and now just a random handle. I guess other taggers don't take in mind to do that? For me it's just routine.

But I think you've revealed a big problem. Would it be better to fit the @names from Twitter/Pawoo/other sites into one tag and have separate [site] tags for when context is known? I'm just thinking it would be a lot of work to fix a marginal problem.
