I would go with adapted_object, since that's the tag for when an inanimate object (the bowl, which is not necessarily a clothing item even if she uses it as a hat) is adapted into a different object.

I don't think so. Actually, official_art novel_artist novel_copyright_name -monochrome should suffice, but perhaps it's a good idea to make such a tag to simplify such searches or indicate that it's actually a novel illustration and not, say, a poster.
By the way, there's a handful of such posts under koukaku_no_regios miyuu, for example.
