pending approval system question

Posted under General

Can I see if a mod or admin as looked at my upload?
Is that what "Flags & Appeals" is for, or is that for something different and an uploaded can never see if in the 3 days his upload was looked at, and by whom?

I just wonder, cause I saw hours ago an upload that was approved after mere 7 minutes, that is not better, quality-wise than my upload that is not approved for 1 1/2 days now. Not that I complain, your rules say you have 3 days time, but I just wonder. And ask about the technical stuff.

Images are only allowed to be appealed once they're deleted and someone thinks it does belong here, and flagged if they're approved if someone feels it doesn't belong.

The little blue message at the top of the post and the blue border are your indication that the image hasn't been approved. Give it some time and someone will likely choose to approve your image if it fits their standards. All approvers choose their images purely by what they like. If no one liked it in 3 days and it is deleted, you may always choose to appeal it on the forum's deletion appeal thread or with the appeal button, just once.

More info can be found in howto:upload

This post is not about appealing, but asking if an uploader can see if the image was looked at by an mod or admin. And by your answer it seems: No, an uploader cannot see that.

After a certain amount of time (maybe 2 1/2 days?), the blue "pending" bar over the post changes to say how many moderators have reviewed the post. It used to say right away, but people kept complaining that the mods weren't looking fast enough.

Do you have a current example at hand where I can see how that looks like, please?
Or can such example be found by some search-fu?

^ This had a score of 14 while mine currently has -3, so I see little chance in its approval. Somehow a shame, you have again 0 images of that character then... *shrug*

At the moment we have 312 others, 282 of which have been approved. They're tagged with caitlyn_(league_of_legends).

While I'm going off topic, I noticed that you keep rating your upload as explicit; please read howto:rate. Your post has "Non-blatantly exposed genitals, full frontal nudity without additional "action" or bodily fluids," so it should be rated Questionable.

Yeah, I see that now after reviewing your rules. Might have been better not jump into all 3 boorus as once since they differ at certain details which makes it quite complex for a newbie...
And 313 of her sound way more plausible. *smiles*

Thanks for the heads up...

/edit
and the rules not only help for tagging but also gave me new ideas, e.g. combining nude rating:safe as search. X-D
