<p>Think a <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link dtext-wiki-does-not-exist dtext-tag-does-not-exist" href="/wiki_pages/wild_cat_print" title="This wiki page does not have a tag">wild cat print</a> would be more sufficient? It could be a blanket tag, but I'm not actually all too sure how best this problem would be tackled without a lot of implications/aliases going around.</p>
</blockquote><p>I think that may not be very specific as domestic cats can have patterns too. </p><p>If we're getting rid of serval_print or similar prints which aren't extremely distinct the way tiger prints are, maybe we should stick with spotted print, striped print, and mottled or rosette. That would also work for giraffes and similar animals. </p><p>These prints can apply to other animals, and striped or spotted is pretty visually distinctive. </p>Jarlath/users/56947tag:danbooru.me,2005:ForumPost/1298622017-04-18T22:42:54-04:002017-04-18T22:42:54-04:00@Mikaeri: Think a wild cat print would be more...<p>Think a <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link dtext-wiki-does-not-exist dtext-tag-does-not-exist" href="/wiki_pages/wild_cat_print" title="This wiki page does not have a tag">wild cat print</a> would be more sufficient? A lot of wild cats tend to have very similar patterns, the patterning could just as well belong to a <a rel="external nofollow noreferrer" class="dtext-link dtext-external-link dtext-named-external-link" href="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/63/Lynx_lynx2.jpg">Eurasian Lynx</a> or <a rel="external nofollow noreferrer" class="dtext-link dtext-external-link dtext-named-external-link" href="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c3/Iberian_Lynx_eating_bird.jpg">Iberian Lynx</a>.</p><p>It'd be better to come up with a more generic tag for the pattern that could apply to a variety of wild cats with the same patterning.</p><p>The basic patterns seem to be: spotted (serval, lynx, cheetah), striped, and <a rel="external nofollow noreferrer" class="dtext-link dtext-external-link dtext-named-external-link" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosette_(zoology)">rosette</a> (leopard, margay, jaguar).</p>NWF_Renim/users/13392tag:danbooru.me,2005:ForumPost/1298562017-04-18T21:23:22-04:002017-04-18T23:18:41-04:00@chilled_sake: create implication serval_print -> animal_print...<p>create implication <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link dtext-wiki-does-not-exist tag-type-0" href="/wiki_pages/serval_print" title="This wiki page does not exist">serval_print</a> -> <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-0" href="/wiki_pages/animal_print">animal_print</a></p><p><a class="dtext-link" href="/bulk_update_requests?search%5Bid%5D=1160">Link to request</a></p><p>The <a class="dtext-link" href="/bulk_update_requests?search%5Bid%5D=1160">bulk update request #1160</a> has been rejected.</p>chilled_sake/users/463832
