Wanted to make a short thread about this, because i want to change the wiki for naked shirt to alter the lingerie mention.

As it is, the tag definition takes a lot from naked apron and claims to be similar but, that isn't entirely true.

The naked apron is a fetish, mostly popularized by the japanese, in the form of: 1 girl appearing in nothing but a white apron, no lingerie, in the kitchen or hallway.

The naked shirt however is a more of a western fetish. The standard image the name produces is that of 1 girl wearing a white dress shirt with nothing, OR just panties underneath, on a bed or in the bedroom.

Not to mention that i've seen a lot of naked shirt tagged images on pixiv that have full lingerie under the shirt.

Since there doesn't seem to be the need for a "nearly naked shirt" tag, like in the case of nearly naked apron, which had it's own japanese tag, i'd recommend just altering the definition to include, instead of exclude the mention of lingerie.
If that sounds ok.

And yes, i just wrote a 208 word post to ask/inform about a 3 word change to a wiki. Just seemed fair.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but isn't the point of naked shirt supposed to be the promise that something will happen to expose the wearer? Like a nipple slipping out or a gust of wind revealing her bare ass or groin. If it is in fact a fetish, it seems like underwear would negate the risk of inadvertent exposure, defeating the purpose of the naked shirt.

Also, if someone wears a shirt with panties, isn't this just no pants?

Never thought of it like that iridescent slime. In most cases i see a "naked shirt" scene, it usually implies the people in the scene have already seen more of each-other and the shirt was the easiest thing to put on after the fact. Like in "the morning after" images.

A nearly naked shirt tag seems like we're splitting hairs way too much, + unlike the n..apron one, it doesn't have a corresponding popular tag on bcy, pixiv etc, both "no underwear" and "some underwear" images involving a shirt - use the same tag on pixiv.

We once had exactly such a tag, but it was purged for being redundant to no pants. See topic #9601.
