claris_(group) is currently a copyright so is l'arc~en~ciel. akb48 is another example. however, momoiro_clover_z is currently a char tag. looking at tags, there's momoiro_clover_z_(cosplay) that probably makes it to a char as a consequence. how should we handle this? i don't think it is necessary to create a new copyright tag, suggestions?

Any tag ending with *_(cosplay) automatically results in the creation of a character tag (and there really should be a warning prompt when this would cause a tag to be recategorized). We've dealt with this problem before (see forum #137525, forum #137690, forum #138122).

Since tagging <GROUPNAME>_(cosplay) doesn't work, the usual solution for this sort of mass cosplay is to tag the individual characters/people being cosplayed, like in post #1144392 or post #2872833. This may not always be an option, though, so I'd be for something like a group cosplay tag for when multiple characters cosplay as an ensemble.

ok, thanks. going to start group_cosplay later. going to raise again, about this *_(cosplay) tags. bayonetta is supposedly the copyright but currently a char tag together with bayonetta_(character). if we are going to follow the convention, bayonetta_(character)_(cosplay) should be the correct tag not bayonetta_(cosplay).
