We currently have a bunch of generic tags that describe an object that floats in water, and that are used alongside or instead of a more specific tag like innertube, inflatable armbands, inflatable toy, inflatable raft, lifebuoy etc.

They are: float, floats, floater, floatie, food_floatie, floaties, floatation_devices and flotation_aid.

The only two wikis are floaties, which points to inflatable armbands, and floatie, which states to use a more specific tag.

None of these tags are really useful, as they're ambiguously worded and we have other tags that describe the objects more specifically. I propose we get rid of them all, applying a specific tag if the post doesn't already have one, and add the ambiguous tag notice from floatie to the other wikis.

Thoughts or objections?

I went ahead and cleaned up the rest of the ambiguous tags. The vast majority of the items tagged as such were ordinary innertubes, kickboards, flotation belts, and so on, so it wasn't much trouble. Most of the images tagged food floatie had either a banana_boat or doughnut_innertube; there were a few odd ones out -- post #1727899 and post #2665930 for instance -- but I'm not sure it would be useful to make up tags like inflatable_lemon or inflatable_carrot that will only be used for a couple posts each.
