Oh I haven't thought of that. I tried it and seems to be working randomly. There are times that the thumbnail really won't load no matter how many times I do the reload image via right clicking it. But thanks for the tip, this is much better than opening all of the failed ones into a new tab. I'll try using this first when I get broken thumbnails. Thanks!

I checked their support article and I'm not really sure what I've read. Too complicated for me. So, when browsing I just open those failed thumbnails into new tab to preview them. It's quite annoying to do especially when a single page have tons of failed ones but I guess I'll get used to it.

I'll update my post just in case I found a fix for this or some clues or whatever. Thank you guys so much for the replies and for looking this up.

I can't claim to understand how Cloudflare works and whether their anti-DDOS systems might be unfairly targeting you. Looking at their support article and none of them seem relevant in this case.

Hello, I'm from South East Asia. And no, I don't use any proxy or VPN or anything except some firefox addons like adblock and some privacy stuff to prevent trackers. But even I turn these off or uninstalled/removed these plugins, the problem still persists.

Firstly, I guess that means that there’s nothing you can do about the missing thumbnails.

I'm not really sure how am I supposed to block that. I found that on other posts too when I was looking this problem up but I didn't really understand any of it. I tried opening the fontawesome.com directly earlier and all I got was a wall of text. (sorry!)

I tried that console thing too when 2 images on a certain page failed to load, I saw 2 "failed to load" message followed bunch of long codes and stuff, but it wont appear again, I forgot to take screenshot of that but the next time I tried, this is what I got:

Hello, anyone else have this problem where thumbnails just won't load? Here's an example:

This happens most of the time. My internet speed is pretty decent and usually I'm the only one using it most of the time. I guess it's site time outs. I'm using firefox and I've done several possible fixes already like:

1. Starting my browser to safe mode
2. Disabling plugins and addons
3. Downgrading firefox version (I'm using version 57.0 64bit right now. But I was using the latest before I did this)
4. Clearing browser cache (including history, cookies, etc too)
5. Disabling browser cache (as well as increaseing it to 1024MB max)
6. "ipconfig /dnsflush" through cmd (administrator mode)
7. Tried using different DNS's
8. Resetting my router to default settings
9. Reinstalling and updating my internet driver
10. Resetting internet settings through windows
11. Tried different browsers (chrome, opera, edge and IE. I also did mostly everything I tried on firefox on these browsers)
12. Whitelisting the website on my adblock and other security-related addons
13. Experimented with my danbooru settings
14. Reformatted my PC...

But none seemed to fix the problem. I have an application that monitors internet data consumption so I know windows or other application ain't updating whenever this is happening. Even refreshing the page multiple times still wont load the other thumbnails. I tried ctrl+f5 too but same issue.

Actually, I've had this problem like few months ago too, but it somehow fixed itself after a few days. But now it's happening again and it's already been like 3 weeks already. I thought it was because the site had maintenance, but doesn't seem to be the case. Any help or information will be much appreciated. Also, it's my first time posting here so I'll apologize in advance if I messed something up.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the image load just fine if I open the failed-to-load thumbnail to a new tab. Although if it has a parent or child, the thumbnail of that fails to load too, unless I click it manually. I noticed the the whole image kind of load slower too. Here's an example:

EDIT2: I tried this on my phone too, and I get the same exact missing thumbnail with the PC. Same goes with the laptop I borrowed from a relative.
