-1 because a shouji is a specific type of Japanese architecture that uses translucent paper on wooden latices, whereas "screen door" is an ambiguous phrase that can refer to any kind of door with a screen on it -- for example, where I live, screen door means a swinging (as opposed to sliding), aluminum storm door with a openable glass window and a wire window screen.
Screen door is defined as "a door consisting of a wire net with very small holes stretched over a frame, designed to allow air but not insects to move through", and shouji simply isn't it.
"japanese_screen_door -> shouji" might be useful as I can never remember the name of that word myself.

Why not turn it into an implication instead?

Because as stated above, "screen door" is can be understood to mean hinged wire mesh doors like in post #2049432, which are not shouji.
