I wouldn't let BotW2 imply BotW but rather the legend of zelda.
Kinda depends on how the game differs from BotW, though. Zelda has a new design and maybe the rest of the cast, too. I'd still wait here.

I know daisy-chaining implications is discouraged, but I figured it's a direct sequel with a short time jump (e.g. identical world and characters, albeit with new hair and belts), which people that search BotW would still want to see.

I personally don't mind waiting for more info before implicating "BotW 2" though.

I can't find an English screenshot r/n but here's a Japanese one saying she's the "miniskirt" (AKA Lass).

I know the E3 demo has a Lass you can fight, I just can't find a screenshot with the girl's class name in it.
