I was looking at characters from the Azur Lane franchise and there are a lot of different character tags for the same "character".

For example, when I look at taihou_(azur_lane), I expect to see all variations of that character. As of right now, that is not the case. If you search for taihou_(forbidden_feast)_(azur_lane) and exclude taihou_(azur_lane), you'll see that some pictures are missing. This can be resolved with "umbrella tags" (similar to those character tags from the Fate franchise). So, in this case, we'd have "taihou_(azur_lane)_all" and it would include all variations.

Thoughts?

Wouldn't it be better to just fix the tagging mistakes (missing main character tag) instead of making even more tags?

I'm not seeing missing chartags for the most popular skins. I saw a couple for Sirius (Azur Lane), but that's it.

Fate has *_(all) tags only because certain characters like Saber have a million different versions and implying them all to the base character leaves no tag for the base character by themselves. Tagging every Saberface as Saber would leave no tag for the default Fate/Stay Night version of Saber. This is why they imply Artoria Pendragon (all) instead.

Azur Lane doesn't really have this problem. The base character is already treated as the umbrella tag, and even without implications, it's virtually always tagged already.
