Edit: oddly enough, I can read the comments just fine on my phone, but not on my laptop.

What browser are you using on both devices?

@MSreverse You most likely have something affecting the display attribute of the <p> blocks with CSS or a user script.

So try one or all of the following:

• Remove all custom CSS from your profile (under My Account >> Settings >> Advanced Settings)
• Disable any CSS extensions on Danbooru (Stylify, Stylus, etc.)
• Disable any user scripts on Danbooru (GreaseMonkey, TamperMonkey, etc.)

If none of those work, you'll have to start getting more thorough.

• Clear the browser cache/cookies
• Reset the browser
• Reinstall the browser
• Reboot the machine (this has amazingly worked for me a few times when nothing else did)

None of the solutions that you proposed worked. Thanks for suggestions, though.
