It's quite obvious that they aren't for the same thing. Edited is like third-party_edit, but for animations. Edit is a meaningless tag used by people who don't know any better.

Edit doesn't even have a wiki. Edited has been used for non-animations too (post #3607332). Should both be nuked, since we already have third-party edit and other edit tags?

Notice that in this one, the same user added both tags, so it's another case of "people who don't know any better". I'm not a fan of using ambiguous terms for tags, and it would be better if this tag's meaning could be made more obvious to users who never consult the wiki (most don't), but for now, edited just needs to be cleaned up, not nuked.

I last posted about this in forum #145198 with a response by @nonamethanks here forum #145199. The difference between edit and edited was never finalized.
