As I see a lot of artists censoring nipples (along with other things) now in the hopes that people will buy the uncensored version of their artwork instead; for example: post #3640875

I believe we could do with some kind of pay_censor tag (or paywall_censor).

Though it would have to be based on the artist commentary where they advertise their patreon/whatever rather than straight up guessing.

There’s already patreon logo censor. I think it’s safe to tag as a paywall censor even without the artist commentary because the intention is pretty obvious.

What about renaming/aliasing patreon_logo_censor to paywall_censor? I doubt anyone would want to specifically include or exclude different sub-types of paywall censoring.

Shouldn't that fall under novelty_censor?

I wouldn’t lump paywall censors under novelty_censor. Novelty censors are used in images that are supposed to be censored and the artist used something ridiculous, silly or unusual. Images with paywall censors are meant to be uncensored and the censoring is just there to be annoying and get people to pay up for the uncensored version.

Also i can definitely give various novelty censor examples that also work as paywall censors.

Novelty censor wouldn't work, because some artists use otherwise-ordinary censors (bar, mosaic, etc) as their paywall censors.
