As for dress lift vs skirt lift... well, there are some cases where dresses are lifted all the way up, thus exposing the upper body as well (eg. post #3755655) which can't be done with a skirt, so they're not really the same either.

I have no objection to making a "top lift" to replace shirt/sweater/tank top/vest/camisole lift, though.

As for dress lift vs skirt lift... well, there are some cases where dresses are lifted all the way up, thus exposing the upper body as well (eg. post #3755655) which can't be done with a skirt, so they're not really the same either.

I have no objection to making a "top lift" to replace shirt/sweater/tank top/vest/camisole lift, though.

Doing this for clothes_pull has the same issue you mentioned with shirt_lift versus skirt_lift. Shirt_pull and pants_pull are similar actions (pulling down a garment to reveal what's underneath) but with somewhat different effects.

If this is a problem, we could divide up the clothes_* tags into upper-body and lower-body clothing. Something like top_lift and top_pull for shirts, sweaters, and blouses, and skirt_lift (bottom_lift shouldn't be necessary as pants can't be flipped up like skirts) and bottom_pull for skirts, pants, and shorts. This approach might be a bit too clunky, though.

I'm not necessarily against this, but it didn't receive any discussion. I do think it's annoying that we don't have an umbrella tag for shirt lift and sweater lift when they're the exact same action, just with slightly different clothing. Skirt lift and dress lift are also the practically same thing.

One thing I'm not sure about is whether shirt lift / sweater lift should be grouped with skirt lift / dress lift. One is about exposing the breasts and the other is about exposing the crotch. The tags may have the same name, but the action isn't quite the same.

The other thing is that doing this means we should probably do the same for clothing aside and clothes pull.

Reason: Couldn't really find a similar topic (but the search option isn't the best here), so here's an obvious request at first glance. The wiki page of clothes lift also doesn't say anything against the implication and sweater lift already implies the tag.

Just surprised this implication doesn't exist, yet. After over 10 years.
