I sometimes made the mistake of using portal for the object, when in fact this tag is currently for the first video game in the Portal series. In any event, I don't think portal should be for that video game. The object seems more important than the game. As in, everybody knows what a portal is, but not everybody played that game.

I think it would be a good idea using portal_1 as the tag name for the first game, as opposed to portal 2. This would be a bit like final fantasy i, final fantasy ii, etc. The tag portal can be kept as an empty disambiguation tag, since we already have portal (object) for the object.

EDIT: The bulk update request #2600 (forum #166219) has been approved by @evazion.

If this is done portal should be a disambiguation page instead of belonging to the object, though I think the game is big enough to keep the tag.
