Bumping this thread for a question.
I noticed a series of recent changes added the mature tag to a vast quantity of lusamine_(pokemon) posts which more or less flooded the tag. I was under the impression that Danbooru tagging was "tag what you see, not what you know" logic, thus making the tag apply for characters that are visibly mature women - and Lusamine is anything but mature-looking, despite being stated to be 40 or something like that.

Should these be reverted?

Pretty much. It's a refinement of older, much like teenage is a refinement of older or younger depending on the character's current age.

I'm going to alias milf to mature just to get it over with. Implicating doesn't solve the problem, and a MILF pool would only turn into a cesspool due to wildly different standards.

Well, if we have an old tag, I don't see a reason to not imply that. Alias would be inappropriate I think since old woman/man are two different thing. To alias them to the same old tag...nope, wouldn't want that.

I would favour implying milf -> mature, and aliasing less common tags (dilf, gilf etc.)

My personal feeling is also to consider what Schrobby said, that mature is a better tag for general things like cougars and non-milf mature characters, then have the actual milf images be in a pool, probably the most preferable idea all around.
