I was actually going to do this the other day, but I got lazy.

Anyway, I moved them to wrist_cutting, since I prefer that over cut_wrists. If anybody feels strongly about it going the other way, I don't mind changing it to cut_wrists.

I was aiming for something that specifically meant a cut in the skin, since cut by itself could mean anything that has been cut.

Granted, that's unlikely to be an issue. Going with cuts should be fine.

I agree with the suggestions, but on top of aliasing everything to injuries, a tag group for various specific injuries (such as scar, and cut_wrists (or wrist_cutting?)) might also be useful.

There's also bleeding, which says something useful about the extent of injury. (While we're at it, there should be an implication bleeding -> blood, since we do have nosebleed -> blood.)

Edited away evasion's smallfry. My suggestions:

battle_damage -> damage (mass edit)
wounded/wounds/injured/injury -> injuries (alias) (though wounds isn't in use at the moment)
bruise -> bruises (alias)
cut -> cuts (alias)

cuts/bruises -> injuries (implication)

(revised) Pending the resolution of the latest singular/plural argument, which has raised its ugly head again... =P

No real objections to your ideas, evazion, although laceration is a very....medical-sounding tag. Wouldn't be bad though as long as we aliased cuts and/or cut to it.

Gives us a shortcut to use and prevents alot of mistagging, you know?

There's also damage (used mainly for androids), battle_damage (used mainly for mecha), and 1-2 posts apiece in hurt, cut, and scrapes.

My suggestions:

Mass-edit/alias battle_damage to damage.
Alias wounded and injury to injured.
Alias bruise to bruises.

It doesn't matter much which of wounded/injury/injured becomes the primary tag, but I prefer injured since wounded seems to imply major battle wounds instead of normal injuries.

I'd also like to start a laceration tag for visible cuts as in post #349591. Any comments/objections about that?
