Really, people that upload a few quick images ONLY to get privileged probably aren't uploading much that's worthwhile anyway. No loss, if you ask me.

On the whole, Danbooru certainly isn't lacking for images. The amount of time each day I spend saving stuff... it's already absurd =P

Sadly, most users don't contribute. ~93% of all users and ~51% of privileged members haven't posted a single picture. Maybe that's because there are so many new members now, but I don't think it will change much.

I don't upload to be privileged, i upload for fun, and to do my part for the community.
If I would upload to become privileged, i would upload 16 images per day, which i don't.

If they want to beat off to lolis sticking carrots where they don't belong, they will still have to be privileged, since that's explicit material.

And if they're the kind of uploader who only uploads to become privileged, well... That's not a significant contribution to this site (most privileged people have submitted thousands of images, from what I've seen). Aside from being kinda cheap, no matter how you look at it.

So, in short, maybe one or two, but not significantly so.

But--I'm privileged now. I don't give a shit if albert changes it back. :D I'm just saying there's no significant difference, other than the ability to see more of the content this site has to offer.

That explains why I sometimes thought "How is this questionable? Shouldn't this be in "Safe"? However, blacklisting stuff like "rating:q" doesn't do anything.

Haha. The blacklist is a highly imperfect system because of the slop job so many users do when tagging. I can blacklist everything bad that can be blacklisted and still find hundreds if not thousands of NWS pics because of negligent tagging. However, people do a much better job at the difference between "questionable" and "safe" because that relies completely on common sense.

I second that opinon, mostly because word-of-mouth + massive growth is one of the principal factors that killed Danbooru the first time. The set-up of the site is somewhat different now, images hosted differently, etc, so hopefully it will scale better this time around.
