It seems on a lot of recent posts I've checked there's some kind of strange nameless (how did that happen?) commenter. It starts out like he's commenting on the picture (sometimes nonsensically) and then posts a link to the same website at the end of every comment.

Yeah, can we get a cleanup on aisle 318660? User #318660 with no visible name spilled a bunch of spam everywhere. Speaking to whichever level(s) can delete comments and if at all possible, would you be so kind?
For those curious: his name consists of two soft hyphen characters.
It seems that he's at it again on another name, User #318659 using the same exact "comment+link" spam.
he made a new one "hiiiiiiiiiiiii" is now spamming

I thought there was a restriction on comments for new users.
Maybe there should be an unreasonably high comment limit for all users regardless of rank, where if you post something like 60 comments a minute (which this guy is doing well more than), it automatically mutes you and flags your account for moderator action?
It also might be worth looking into the value of letting hidden comments bump posts in the comments listing, with instances like this, it basically just wipes anything of any value before it can even be read.
I dmailed Albert and requested an IP ban...
Looks like the comment limits checks aren't quite as stringent as they should be. Non-bumping comments may need to be limited as well, for a start.

interesting, the bot harvested a set of already existing comments to copypasta into everything to make it LOOK like they were actually commenting relevantly, like the cirno's wings comment from post #627636 (the irony is good)
post #627758 was hit all three times with the same comment. There seems to be a trend where the bots continue to go after certain posts repeatedly.

Wow, this is getting ridiculous.
Once this gets dealt with all the comments will be deleted, right? I think some people are voting them up either by accident (I accidentally voted up one instead of voting it down) or they're just being idiots.
