Aliasing ethan_(pokemon) -> hibiki_(pokemon).
Aliasing lyra_(pokemon) -> kotone_(pokemon).

Reason: To match the Brendan, Lucas, and May & Dawn aliases.

I see we have a hibiki_(pokemon) -> gold_(pokemon) alias already. Any idea why, and what I should do about it?

It was an alias I suggested about four months ago in forum #35203.

And if we ever decide to undo that, then the English re-name will remain matched to the Japanese re-name.

Can't do that, nothing can be aliased to hibiki_(pokemon) since it's aliased to something else.

Personally, I'd say alias ethan_(pokemon) to gold_(pokemon). As long as the pokemon_heartgold_and_soulsilver tag exists (as much as I don't really care for the tag), there's no reason to keep them seperate. Especially since it's canonically the same person in the same medium.
