In my case, it was still listing images that were only tagged with white_legwear+thighhighs in the list of white_thighhighs. You click on the image, and the latter tag wouldn't even be there.

However, now I'm just seeing images that are actually tagged with white_thighhighs as if the alias is broken, including post #890620 which was uploaded 1 hour ago...I'm glad I didn't go into the career of database management, honestly.

Can it be somewhat corrected?

I tried force expiring the white_thighhighs tag on Sonohara (there's a special URL you can go to), and now the alias seems to work on both servers.
There will still be posts tagged white_thighhighs until jxh2154 runs an alias fix, though.

The fix option really ought to clear the alias cache for both tags automatically.

There are still posts tagged white_thighighs, e.g. post #883352, they're just impossible to find since any search gets converted to white_legwear per the alias.
I think if you run a fix on the alias that'll take care of it.

That one says white_legwear for me. But I'll use the fix option and see what happens.

Yeah I just changed it from colored to styled.

Some more aliases:

create alias print_pantyhose -> print_legwear
create alias print_leggings -> print_legwear
create alias print_kneehighs -> print_legwear

Edit: Also include:

create alias print_thighhighs -> print_legwear
