They are drastically different, and I wanted to clear things up on how Danbooru should tag biscuits.</p><p>Then I looked at the tagged pictures and became very confused. I haven't come across a culturally ambiguous tag before, but I find this to be one of them. </p><p>Is there a cultural definition that we should use when using the <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link dtext-tag-empty" href="/wiki_pages/biscuit" title="This wiki page does not have a tag">biscuit</a> tag? Should the American biscuit be the one defined on Danbooru and the English biscuit be tagged as <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-0" href="/wiki_pages/cookie">cookie</a> instead? Or should it be the other way around, with the American version called a <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-0" href="/wiki_pages/scone">scone</a> instead? Should there be an <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link dtext-wiki-does-not-exist dtext-tag-does-not-exist" href="/wiki_pages/american_biscuit" title="This wiki page does not have a tag">american biscuit</a> and an <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link dtext-wiki-does-not-exist dtext-tag-does-not-exist" href="/wiki_pages/english_biscuit" title="This wiki page does not have a tag">english biscuit</a> tag created for each of them? Or could <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link dtext-tag-empty" href="/wiki_pages/biscuit" title="This wiki page does not have a tag">biscuit</a> be considered an ambiguous tag for cultural reasons, and then broken down into the more defined <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-0" href="/wiki_pages/cookie">cookie</a>/<a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-0" href="/wiki_pages/cracker">cracker</a> and <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-0" href="/wiki_pages/scone">scone</a> for their respective cultures?</p><p>I know Danbooru is an international site, and I can just tell by the confusion caused when I looked at the posts for <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link dtext-tag-empty" href="/wiki_pages/biscuit" title="This wiki page does not have a tag">biscuit</a>.</p><p>Or am I looking into this too much? ><;</p>Benit149/users/248298
