I noticed that all images of vividblue are currently tagged with isshiki_akane and futaba_aoi_(vividred_operation), but I don't think she should be as she's visually distinct from both of them. I'd only add the tags when they also appear pre-fusion as in post #1346128 and post #1346041.

my personal opinion on this is vividblue should be a separate character much like gotenks, gogeta, and vegetto.

and something related, how exactly should we tag them after the individual transformation and *docking*: mecha_musume, magical_girl, or both? as it appears nobody tagged them as such as of now.

So, no objections to removing character tags? This also applies to vividgreen and whatever else pops up.

just an observation, i think the reason why people continue adding chartags of the two *docking* girls is because they're also adding the fusion tag. it quite fits in the wiki definition though. my question will be, should the fusion tag still necessary if the merged entity has a name?

i would suggest that the fusion tag be limited to make-believe (unnamed) artist creations like post #1352687 post #1345276 . in this scenario, adding chartags of participating characters are expected. thoughts? thanks.

Considering that danbooru tagging is generally about "what you see", it seems like the fusion tag barely applies anyway. Even though the characters are technically fusing in the context of the anime, the resulting product looks much more like a new character than a mixture of the two. (especially vividyellow who looks more like Mami + Neito than Akane + Himawari). Certainly tagging the separate characters makes no sense since you can't see them.
