Fender tag (nature and implication)?

Should Fender be a copyright tag,

It doesn't look like it has any characters, so no.

and should it imply guitar?

From wikipedia:

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC), commonly referred to simply as Fender, is a US manufacturer of stringed instruments and amplifiers, such as solid-body electric guitars, including the Stratocaster and the Telecaster.

There are posts like post #685008 where a Fender amplifier is visible, but no guitar is.

I though we used copyright for trademarks and companies as well.

The sale of amplifiers and not guitars kills the implication idea, though. Good catch.

It was sometimes used that way in the past but in the past ~6 months there was a discussion where we decided it must have a character associated.
