Kaguya pretty much explained "Demon Souls". A game that could pretty much drive anyone to tears of how hard it is. Yet really...think it is refreshing as too many games make gamers too soft and weak.

Satisfaction is something that's truly to be savored, not victory.
"Touhou" in a nutshell. You try many, many times, you never give up, and when you finally win the game, you feel like you can win against the whole planet at once.

Unless you have the misfortune to play EoSD as your first Touhou game. Then you try many, many times, you never give up, and when you finally beat Sakuya, the game suddenly declares that none of your perseverance counts because you committed the heinous crime of thinking you'd play on the difficulty level best suited to your status as a beginner. Then you have to buy a new monitor to replace the one you destroyed by throwing a keyboard at it.

You have some serious anger issues. (I only broke the keyboard when Yuyuko's last spell killed me a hair away from my first 1cc.)

I remember when I emulated Ghouls'n'Ghosts. Even with the quicksave/quickload feature, I still had many difficulties to reach the final boss. And then, that thing came: "Lol, restart the game, grab that stuff, and do the whole thing again, LOL PWN!".
That day, my keyboard flew through the window. TL;DR: same happened in Mountain of Faith too. You finish the game in Easy? You have a bad end.

You think ESoD is bad because of the easy mode joke?
Play Nier. You will hate Square Enix for the rest of your life. And if you all ready do, you will contemplate arson.
EoSD was my first game, too. I actually killed Remilia at one point, no bombs, last life, only to get hit in the gap between her blowing up and the bullets clearing out, denying me the 1cc. I was so angry that I didn't realize how epic that would've been as a replay and didn't save it. :(
Got my first 1cc four hours later with four lives left. :\ I'm not a consistent player.
I must be doing it wrong, I finished it. Hard Mode and errything. I'm probably going to make myself a badge on TF2 proclaiming my awesome.
And you should change your nickname to Fawkes.
...
Because you became the Guy. Don't kill me too slowly, please.
The game-makers and generations of players.
Their souls reside within it.Shut up.
Literal pronunciation, in katakana English. But isn't gaming all about winning...?A Gamer's SoulThis game is filled with the blood, sweat and tears of many. And you call it a crappy game just because you can't beat it...?What if there is a meaning behind a loss?
- KaguyaWhat was that?I think there will be something interesting tomorrow.Until then, immature vampire.
