Actually, it's not. Originally it was suppose to be 触手の苗床(tentacle seedbed), but later on it was shorted to just 苗床 and became a repeating gag for everyone to call her by that. So 苗床もやし is a combination of (abusing) words that are both used to refer to Patchouli.
