Tama and Kuma do these cute little cat and bear poses when they fire. Naka even does a little dance when she fires and you can even see her dancing in the hallway when you collect a new card. There's tons of personality added into their animations.
I'm really lucky there are no Kancolle Arcade machines in the states. I would be totally broke.
Eh, it's not so bad; for 300 yen, you can get a lot of gameplay - I was getting 40-50 mins off that. The real cost is in the cards - 100 yen each, regardless if a drop or construction. And of course, you don't know what you'll be getting beforehand, outside of known drops for the map.
Generally was spending 600-700 yen a pop, if I wasn't running the higher maps - then it would be less, since the maps cost more points to sortie to.

Naka dancing when card is being printed = holo, apparently. Sure was for me both times.

Suzukaze's gun twirl and that the girls will get scared if they're lured right into enemies' aim might be my favorite. The girls are all very expressive.
I wasn't using a machine with video out, and I didn't bring an audio cable, so sorry for the potato-ness.

Thanks for the videos. So are the machines really crowded up or something? I can imagine if you get that long per person there would be a huge line on all the machines they had. Or a bunch of people looking over your shoulder as you play. It makes me nervous when people do that, especially when I suck at the game.

This is actually something I'm wondering too... I'd like to play, but if there are people waiting behind me I get nervous and paranoid lol. They might be watching me, judging... O_o

Depends on where you go; since I was hitting up Tokyo in Golden Week, it was quite busy - where I did the filming had only 20-30 people waiting, but no list to put your name down, while Shinjuku had a list,but about 100 people waiting. I was waiting about 2 hours each time. You can pretty much just say that it's 30-40mins per person, per machine. I've seen game centers with 2,4 and 8 machines.
If there's a list, and you're not there to take your spot, your names gets erased pretty much immediately.
And yes, people will watch - nearly every game center's lines face the machines themselves. We're watching to see who's going to be leaving next, what drops you get and how much of a Shitty Admiral you are for getting your girls sunk.

Murakumo is a starter ship - just like the real Kancolle, you get to pick from the starter 5 for a free, guaranteed drop.
Just make sure that you ignore the tutorial and do a construction (put in 100 yen again!) for a battleship or carrier before sortieing. Breezed through all of World 1 by getting Haruna that early.
There should be signs telling you the make GP that you can pay for (usually 200 or 300yen's worth) - 300 yen gets your a resource bonus, so that's the best one (100/credit or 450 for 3 credits, on top of the GP).

Yeah i want sega port the game, the vita ver somehow it's just direct port from browser game with a little improvement such live 2d and the most important is ability to load and save(you never be shitty admiral now lol) yeah it's sega man they did port an arcade game to console(i just remember shining blade arcus),but yeah that game is fighting type, huge different from kancolle arcade.
If previous SEGA Arcade history is hint of anything with recent titles like "Blade Arcus from Shining", "Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax" and "Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Future Tone", this game will get an adapted console version when Arcade version popularity wears out.

Would be nice, but the wheel and speed tiller controls are pretty nice to have. It also makes money hand over fist (though I've heard that gamecenters actually lose money on holos, with the extra printing cost; the cards are printed on demand, in the machine)
