I put this in "Impending Doom", but now I'm wondering if it's "Digging Your Own Grave" instead. Kongou and Ryuujou are technically the ones responsible for this mess through both peer pressure and actually removing the training wheels without Tone's consent, but Tone herself dug herself deeper after the impact by referring to Kaga as a "cushion" instead of apologizing.
Well, some people when losing control of their vehicle have this tendency of holding tight to the controlling part (the steering wheel) while forgetting about the brakes (the pedal). It applies to a bicycle in age scale.
My (4 year-old) niece just received her first bike for Christmas. (With training wheels, of course.) No matter how much we tried to tell her about the brakes, her way of trying to stop when she started going too fast was always trying to jump off the seat and drag her feet on the ground. (Presumably learned from the little cars we'd push her around in where her feet could actually reach the ground.)
It's something that only lasts for the first few times you use a bike, but if this is Tone's first ride...
To be fair, the training wheels don't have anything to do with the ability to brake.
it is tho, when you finally learn bike for the first time you don't know how to brake, to be spesific "scared" to fall when you don't have enough speed to maintain your center of gravity. happen to me, and i end up hit the wall
