1. Go to /k/. 2. Mention that the FN P90 is an assault rifle. 3. Post this pic. 4. Ride on the wave of massive RAGE.
P90 is actually a PDW, but yes, technically it's a bullpup SMG with a rather unique feeding / ejection system and chambered in a rare pistol cartridge.
Not rare, unique. The P90 was developed around the round and is the only weapon (yet) which uses it. The round is designed to pierce body armor and is available solely to police and military as is the full on P90. There are civilian versions available but they are not chambered for the round.

It's not that unique, the old 7.62x25 does pretty much the same job, and it even isn't a spitzer. But 5.7x28 is definitely rare, as the Five-Seven and civilian versions of P90 are overpriced and pretty much only the hardest enthusiasts buy them. This way, there's no point in producing as huge amounts of 5.7 as of 9x19, .45, .40 etc. Therefore it's definitely a rather rare pistol cartridge.

Well, they might seem elitist and bad-tempered, but you have to understand it's the same thing like going to /jp/ to ask "Lol guise, I've seen that Reimu bitch, what anime is she from?" or going to /a/ to ask "Hai, can it be a Simpsons time nao?"
I understand that, it's just, to me, those are harmless. Guns, on the other hand, kill people (in before "guns don't, people, etc.") Studying so much about something specifically designed to kill people is somewhat disturbing to me.
I suppose it's something of a phobia, but it's just creepy to me.
