Basic Anatomy got me every time. Coincidentally, I learned how to position my body so that it looked like I was wasn't sleeping, but left me looking very normal and anonamous, so I never got called on for anything (I hope). I even sat in the front row!
I would tell the teacher that whenever I close my eyes, that doesn't mean I'm sleeping. It's just my way of listening better. I still got A in that class.
...I had a physics class where my performance in class was so good that the teacher let me sleep whenever it was just note taking because I never needed it :D
this is my everyday life now.. (seat = 1st row, always sleep, no matter if there's teacher or not <-absolutely proud)
i wonder in how many more years something like this will become nostalgia for me ... ... i think never, it always happen, the difference is just the environment
This would always happen to me in my last class of the day. It doesn't matter what subject the class was, all I needed was isolation from friends, a quiet room, and BAM! I'm off to sleep. I would usually would wake up when the teacher would ask me a question to wake me up on purpose. It would happen at least once a week.
It was near the end of class, and the day, and one kid's asleep. The teacher silently motioned us out the door, so we all sneak outside of the class. He sets the clock ahead three hours, turns off the light, shuts the classroom door, then kicks it.
I got a "permasleeper" rep back in high. I fell asleep nearly every day. My mates even took a picture of me laying on the desk once and used it on the graduation montage (where pretty much everyone was made fun of. It was hilarious!)

I'm still a student, and I have dozed off in class (Algebra 2) once or twice. Not pleasant, as my grades aren't great in that class.
