Except nobody cares about the mantle and core. Its only the tiny speck of moss growing on top of a rock shooting through space at 32 miles per second that we care about. Something so common surrounding us, but so infinitesimally rare in the entirety of the universe and all of cosmic existence... Maybe we should take care of it, but that would cost a few more dollars - which adds up over time. To think that we place so much value in a piece of paper that is in reality truly worthless, while we let the only world that supports life to our knowledge crumble around us. Meh.

"Resources exist to be consumed. And consumed they will be, if not by this generation then by some future. By what right does this forgotten future seek to deny us our birthright? None I say! Let us take what is ours, chew and eat our fill."
