If Buront wins this time too, i'll be kinda disapointed. Looks like author sets him as unbeatable guy. Its boring, someone must kick his ass at least once.

Eh, call it a compromise due to converting from a game to a comic. Buront's job, being the tank, is to get pulverized while the party pulls through each boss fight by the skin of their teeth. But if that were faithfully recreated, they'd still be fighting the Italian Doll.
Now, if this comic were Mr. Pavlov's occupation (rather than a time sink preventing him from making any money)... Am I the only one who thinks a Touhou fandom making a little international cash could blitzkrieg other webcomics? Whether it's ad revenue, a donation box (hey), or selling tshirts with this illustration on it. They'd even be a better read, able to afford good translations.

Unbeatable? Hah, I wouldn't say that exactly. If you've been keeping track since the beginning His track record thus far is...
Reimu proved that if needed she could kick the shit out of him (literally). He beat Aya only because I think she underestimated him. Barely beat a possessed Marisa. Lost (?) to Kitanai Ninja and Jin Fu-Ha when they took Rumia hostage. Beat Letty alongside Reimu and Marisa. Supported Alice & Shanghai with Aya to defeat the Italian Doll. Was getting his ass kicked by Meiling until he was helped by Reimu, Aya, and Alice. He beat Naito in a straight up 1-on-1 fight. Fought Sakuya along with Aya's help. Didn't win or lose really since Sakuya stopped fighting.
From my point of view, he does his job. The man is a tank. While pretty strong on his own, in most big fights he is usually fighting alongside others. And like a good tank he mostly defends or takes front damage instead of the others and offers needed support. While being able to most enemies solo, he doesn't seem to do too well against extraordinarily strong opponents or enemies that have been buffed.
Unbeatable? No. Tougher than the hardest golden ingot of iron? Yes. Can Rage Rapture Buront beat The Scarlet Devil Remilia Scarlet solo?

Naturally, I'm just talking hypothetical potential. We all know ZUN isn't going to let the fans do as they please, especially internationally. I'm still wondering how that thing UFO Table made turned out. It's a long wait til the next update, and I like to dream of a world where the artist wasn't stretched across two other comics and whatever else he does for a living.
It's like the Linebarrels of Iron artist, where I like his fan comic more than pro work and wish they could switch.
Rage Rapture Buront
...alright, rapture has GOT to be the translation rather than ecstasy.
StriderTuna said: Two comics? Asides from his doujins, this is his only other main project (side story included), and the effort he puts into this is a sign of how passionate he is about it.
He's also (somewhat) broken into mainstream ero-manga publishing.
The manga creator. On his site he's got a fan comic of old timey Kamen Riders. It's got its cliches and, like this one, is very infrequently updated while having to go shorthand. But they look like S.I.C. figures.
Mr. Pavlov also draws H mangas. He can make all this but still has to do porn to pay the bills. To me, that's a severe case of, "This is why we can't have nice things!"

Keep in mind I'm not biased in any way.
To be fair, he hasn't really beaten anyone, apart from Aya and the www Knight, by himself. Everyone was able to overcome the opponents through teamwork (even though Reimu isn't really trying). His job is to be a tank and that's what he does, he just looks good doing it, to the point where it seems like he is the one doing all the work.
Even the win against Sakuya wouldn't have worked without Buront and Aya's combined effort. They beat her in a legitimate way that wasn't an asspull. Frankly I was impressed (from a writing standpoint).
Now if he was able to best Remilia 1v1 (while everyone else watches) I would agree with you, but for now we just have to wait and see.

Tanking period makes it look like they did all the work lol

In nicovideo episodes, though, every climatic fight was at least 5-6 minutes long.

So anybody knows what happened again to tomotsuka haruomi ? These sudden release then nothing-for-few-months are killing us, especially on badass cliffhangers like these =/

He's usually busy with all the doujin conventions coming up, that and high quality stuff like this takes time.

He is like Kentaro Miura. It may take him a while, but when he is ready he delivers. Not only is the quality remarkable he does all this himself. And unlike a standard manga or doujin, all his stuff is colored. That in itself takes time.
This is a very nightmarish cliffhanger. On another note it seems that Buront is hording all of the luck in all reality. Like if Tewi and Buront fought, it would all be based on who's luckier.
In fact, they don't split up in any of the fights in the videos. Buront doesn't solo any of them; everyone's pretty much DPS at this point.
Also, before Suika joins the party, Suika and Buront spar. He loses. In fact, if I remember correctly, "you control" her (the menu and stuff controls Suika, not Buront even though Buront's supposed to be the player character).
Just caught up with the series. The last few pages are epic indeed. This Remilia, is hands down one of the best. Seriously, screw all this Uuuu~Uuu shit. Fucking Remilia rape face all night, every night is where it should be at.

Time stopping is a ass-pull, as you should not be able to move the air around you, nor see, nor hear, nor nothing, even if you could think, you could not do anything and would likely asphyxiate.... but yeah, if you consider the way the physics rules are being bent, i guess what he did was valid
As it's the commentary on the last batch and it seems to talk about how the writing went and how he diverged from the rules of the videoes. I'm asking as if this has a good clue then perhaps we might be able to help depending on what it is
I complied all the videos into a new list (in the wiki) along with what is very well likely the final video (99.999....% certainty)
I also attempted to tweet the artist with the list to see if A) helps him and B) gets me a status report.
Tsumanne said: I gave a quick "next chapter ;_;" type comment on the artist's last post of this and I don't seem to be the only one in recent months to do so. But I'm not getting my hopes up. It's not as if the artist hasn't found time for other new projects... which happen to be numbersome...
I think it'd be better to make a remark in a general comment thread or such. Though I wonder why he hasn't even given a word on if he'd continue it or not. It seems to be a repeat of what happened with Advent Cirno when its artist made it big: It got abandoned basically.
Though from what I saw it sparked a few other recent remarks.
3 years and no update? hell of a cliffhanger right there! *sigh* one thing I hate about danbooru is that some good comics is left untranslated (completely or abruptly) and/or incomplete =x=
