Something's coming up the plumbing, Poor Luigi's in a bind! Killer turtles out to get him, Giant crabs are right behind! Fighter flies, jeepers-jipes! The're all coming out the pipes!
Can you imagine what the Nintendo of America HQ must have looked like 32 years ago, before the release of the North American NES and all their lifeblood was was the revenue from the arcade cabinets? Well I'm sure it wasn't too small, arcade cabinets were a big market and all, but there was no heart! Not yet at least! Not in the same mass-production manufacturing, hardware-selling mess of transactions, selling typically to the big movie theaters arcades, skating rinks and pizza places... No, it wasn't until Nintendo came home that things really shook up!
Not badmouthing arcade games, but its not like you can fall asleep with them (and safely wake up the next morning).
