A British light cruiser added as part of a collaboration between Azur Lane and World of Warships, based off of a conceptual design meant to succeed the Town-class cruisers already in use by the Royal Navy. Improvements over her predecessors included a dual-purpose main battery consisting of 12 6" guns and an increased torpedo armament. The design was abandoned and no ship was ever laid down. Post-war budget cuts and a severely depleted economy prevented further development of the class, which would have numbered 5 ships had they been built.
Neptune is portrayed as a bluenette maid, her hair done into twin pigtails. She weilds a trident, a reference to her namesake, the ancient Roman god of the seas. Neptune's personality is very teasing, with a sharp tongue. She also displays a very domineering attitude towards the Commander and considers them to be little more than a slave, similar to Ajax.
In reference to her World of Warships counterpart, Neptune receives improved AP shells and a powerful heal.
