Edit
A particular pose (with several variants) in which a character is standing with one leg crossed over and in front of the other at calf-, knee-, or thigh-level. This pose is named after actress Emma Watson, who has famously and frequently adopted this pose, usually at various award shows.
The character is usually deliberately presenting or shown in this pose (rather than, say, simply walking). Oftentimes, they will have one hand resting on their hip, but this is not a hard-and-fast requirement.
Important:
- The Watson Cross has the crossing of the legs such that they form the shape of a V or an X. When they cross at foot- or ankle-level, this usually puts too much space between the upper legs, forming something more like a 4 (example: post #91772). As such, these do not qualify for this tag.
- In virtually all cases, the entirety of both legs must be visible to qualify. In other words, it is not a Watson Cross if one foot seems to just mysteriously disappear behind the other, nor is it one when the image cuts off at the thighs, knees, calves, etc.
