A compact submachine gun first made by Military Armament Corporation in 1964. The boxy gun had a combination handgrip/magazine well and a front strap and extendable wire stock to help stabilize the weapon. It had a top-mounted cocking handle which when twisted also acted as a safety. The MAC-10 could be mated to a screw-on sound suppressor for quiet operation.
