Mutually exclusive tags
The following cannot be used to describe the same object or situation
- looking at viewer <-> (facing viewer or blindfold)
- striped bikini <-> white bikini
- nude <-> (bare shoulders or bare legs or bare arms)
- topless <-> (nude or bare shoulders or bare arms)
- bottomless <-> bare legs
- hands in opposite sleeves <-> sleeves past wrists
- solo <-> (solo focus or multiple views)
- jersey <-> track jacket
- bare chest <-> (shirtless, nude, breastless clothes or underwear only)
- bunnysuit <-> (kittysuit, playboy bunny leotard, or bunny costume)
- male swimwear <-> shirtless
Specific mistagging
Objects
- crescent moon
- Do not tag for just crescent shaped objects, e.g. crescent hair ornament
- red glasses
- Used when the lenses are tinted red
- For red-frames, use red-framed eyewear instead
- short hair
- Not for male characters
- Not for shoulder-length hair
- eyebrows
- Only when eyebrows are thick or stand out
- Not for just eyebrows visible through hair
- naked towel
- Character must be wearing the towel, not just having it on their person
- photo
- Post itself should be a photo, not one that contains a photo, i.e. photo (object)
- vaginal
- If female character's genital is visible, tagging pussy is mandatory.
- see-through/transparent
- See-through is for clothing, transparent is for other objects.
- silhouette
- Not for mere shadows behind objects; should be mostly featureless
- topless
- Girls Only tag; use shirtless for boys
- costume switch
- For more than one character in the image to prove the switch, not for one-character cosplay pics, not especially even parent-child pairs of single-character cosplay posts.
- Not the same as a "costume change."
- animal ears
- Do not use for actual animals, which have these by default.
- pussy peek and penis peek
Meta
- text focus
- Only when text is a major component of an image
- casual
- Not for characters that always appear in casual clothing
- contemporary
- Not for characters that always appear in contemporary settings
- humanization
- Refers to characters that were already humanoid to begin with being depicted as fully human; depictions of non-humanoids as humans belong under personification
Actions
- squirting
- Not for female ejaculation
- facing viewer
- Only for characters with closed or covered eyes
- floating
- When on water, user afloat instead
- partially submerged
- Not for just sitting in shallow water
