paper lantern
Paper lantern is a traditional lighting equipment of Japan and it is distinguished into two types which will be described later.
- 1. chouchin(提灯)
It has a flame of spit bamboo wound in a spiral.

- 2. tourou(灯籠)/kami dourou(紙灯籠)
It stretched the paper into a square frame of wooden, and use it lit a fire by placing the dish was put oil in it. In Japan, customs of "Tourou nagashi” mourn the souls of ancestors by passing tourous to sea exists.
