What about vambraces or the gorget?
Truth be told there's a lot of missing implications for the armor category.
Edited.
About helm: It doesn't imply helmet currently and that's probably a good thing since you could say that a helmet isn't an armor.

Not so sure about helm. Its basically an enclosed helmet and we dont implicate helmet to armour. Also cant a gorget be made of cloth worn as a fashion statement?
The modern term indicates an armored collar. Even the contemporary versions are made of metal or other armored materials, such as hardened leather or kevlar.

Ah, but coming from an other side this is a modern gorget. Its closer to a necklace than a piece of armour.

It's more of an armored detached collar than a necklace. Still, it fits with the definition of armor. There exist versions that are mostly made of standard cloth but those are called gorget patches and are already covered by the badge or insignia tags.
Yeah, if we are considering all of those above armor, then there are about 15K+ posts missing that tag right now.

However, do we want to consider those armor? Does armor conjure in your mind someone just wearing one of those individual pieces, or is it something more of a complete set.
For myself, when I picture armor, it's only the torso that is required to be armored. I would not consider someone wearing just greaves or gauntlets to be armored. Same with all of those are set items. Nor would I consider someone clothed that was only wearing gloves or boots.

If we follow this logic, what about armored_boots?
Actually in my opinion it isn't needed that the person is armored completely but the clothes have some purpose.
Otherwise, if armored equpment is removed then the armor tag doesn't apply anymore..?

Sure I'd be game for unimplying that.

Keep in mind that armored dress implies armor too and that follows the same logic.
Bump.
M-hm, I don't think having one piece of protective gear such as gauntlets should count as armor. The meaning of armor tag should be discussed further, but I think it should get tagged when more or less a protective set of armor is used, even if said set traditionally consists of a single protective item.

remove implication shoulder_armor -> armor
remove implication armored_boots -> armor
See rejection reason above.
