I thought Maryland had short hair but her having it long is quite... refreshing.
That's not Mary, if you're talking about the girl at the table on the right. That's West Virginia, her sister ship and fellow member of the Big 7 (along with their sister ship Colorado). Mary MIGHT be the girl in the chalkboard heart drawing with the Admiral? Otherwise, I don't see her.

The one in the chalkboard heart seems to be O'bannon.

I am personally quite glad to see this "Ghost of Pearl Harbor" finally make an appearance. Although Yamashiro may not like it too much. Shigure, on the other hand, might freak out and call an exorcist.

Wasn't West Virginia the first battleship at Surigao Strait to zero in on Yamashiro though?
The big sister probably won't understand why Shigure will be freaking out and her little sister being disconsolate.

Well, yeah. West Virginia was also sunk at Pearl Harbor. I'm not saying "critically damaged" she was actually lying at the bottom of the harbor after that attack. That's why I call her (and USS California) a "Ghost of Pearl Harbor". I should also note that USS California and her sister ship, USS Tennessee, opened fire 2 minutes later making those three battleships the ones that contributed the most to the outcome.

Less zero in and more "Hit". 22800 yards, night battle and she lands a first salvo hit. Turns out having 3cm radar and being fleet gunnery champion three years running does magical things to whatever's on the receiving end of 16" Mk 3.
Man, Lexie's got a fine aft. And what's with the cuffs? Either this meeting is also going to cover the handling of POWs... Or this isn't an "official" meeting. *eyebrow waggle*

The cuffs are a reference to the Chicago PD since USS Chicago is named after the city. Think detective noir movies.
