Unless my google translation failed again,it looks like author says that this art is relevant to a video game still in developing stage. And something along the line "she surrendered to the police without resisting arrest" can somebody with proficient japanese confirm that?
In Postal 1, I don't know how intentional it is, but the game sort of felt like a bad dream, with the weird as fuck audio design (I just remember things like gas pumps and machines making weird sounds), the stream-of-consciousness rants and loading screens with fleshy, decaying masses of bodies or architecture.
In this game, at first I thought the news was going over the massacre she was about to do and reported it, or that the whole thing was in her head. Still, there hasn't been anything like postal 1 to me. Hatred was a bit too straightforward and over-the-top with its massacre, but with no real characterization (I mean the MC's name is Not Important). Postal 2 is great, but that's its own deal.
I'm ranting, but I could get behind something like this if it has that consistent disgusting feeling Postal 1 evoked, not just the murder, but the world, the characterization, and the imagery.
