Coefficient matrix solution is just a fancy (and compact, at least on paper) way to solve multiple equations; math is actually exactly the same to what you described - notice how vector x has the same values as your variables :3

So it's 5+1.41421356237...*10 Multiplication first and you have 5+14.1421356237... The result is 19.1421356237...
