For those who don't know brazilian portuguese the artist comment says "Hello! My name is St. Lou- no, Tamandare~ Plasure to meet you!". St. Louis was sold to the brazilian navy after ww2, named Tamandaré (C-12) after the brazilian navy patron, Joaquim Marques de Lisboa, Marquis of Tamandaré. She would serve in the brazilian navy until 1976 when she was sold for scrap but sank while under tow. As a brazilian I approve of this.
I wonder what happened to St. Louis fan art? She was really popular a couple months back along with Honolulu, then everything for her just flat out stopped. Honolulu still gets art but St. Louis support is just gone. It's like she ceased to exist in peoples minds. It's annoying and strange since she's one of my favorite US ships. Her in that China dress costume still rules.

@GoldSaw if you want anything to blame chuck it towards Taihou (AL), and then slew of Bowsette art which then leapt over to that Rikka (SSSS.Gridman) phase as plenty of artists hop to the hottest "trending" bandwagon.
